A common curriculum exists throughout the first 3 years, based on National Curriculum guidelines. During this time students study:
|English Literature||Beliefs, Values and Traditions||Technology|
|English Language||French or Spanish||Drama|
|Mathematics||Computational Thinking||Personal Social Health Education|
|History||Art and Design|
Years 7 – 9 are taught in sets for Maths, with regular health checks to assess potential and achievement. There is flexibility within our structure to arrange groups in the rest of the curriculum which suits learning in mixed abilities or in sets, dependent on subject requirements.
In Year 9, students choose their options for GCSE study.
