PSHE is a tremendous opportunity to allow children to develop their thinking and their life skills. It encourages students to formulate their own opinions and make sense of their own experiences on a variety of topics. It also allows our students to improve their discussion and debating skills and empathise with the lives of people in different communities locally, nationally and globally.
PSHE at The Trafalgar School is taught in discrete lessons across all years (7-11) and in addition forms part of the tutor programme. It is an opportunity to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attributes to keep themselves healthy and safe and to prepare them for life and work in modern day 21st Century Britain.
